I Gusti Nyoman Lempad

The owner of Lempad House, Ubud, is an architect, sculptor, and painter, estimated to be 116 years old. This artist’s name is Mr. I Gusti Nyoman Lempad. No one knows for sure when Mr. I Gusti Nyoman Lempad was born. But it is estimated that around 1862, and he died in 1978.
Mr. I Gusti Nyoman Lempad died unusually because he could consciously choose his time of death. Maybe this sounds made up, but this is a true story covered by the international media.
One month before the day of his death, I Gusti Nyoman Lempad summoned his entire family and asked them to wash and dress him, besides telling his relatives of their inheritance. The day of death chosen by I Gusti Nyoman Lempad is a holy day for Balinese Hindus.
