Neka Museum Ubud Bali opened in the year 1982. The name of the museum derived from a teacher who has a hobby of collecting paintings. The teacher’s name is Suteja Neka.
The building of Neka Museum Ubud Bali has a Balinese architecture style with International Museum standard. Also, all buildings at Neka Museum is very well-treated and the way they display the paintings is very well organized. It makes the visitor easier to understand and to enjoy the pictures.
Every year, the collection number of paintings increased and recent day there are more than 300 paintings from local and foreign painters.
