- Under 7: not recommended. If permitted on the day, a parent or guardian must sign a disclaimer per the Sobek policy.
- Non-swimmer: OK. Life jacket worn throughout; follow your guide’s instructions.
- Telaga Waja weight limit: no official limit. However, guests must manage stairs; life jackets are available in sizes S to XL.
- Health: not recommended during pregnancy; within 6 months after major surgery; with uncontrolled heart conditions or hypertension; or severe back, neck, or spinal injuries.
- Stairs count: about 5 steps from the lobby to start; about 150 steps from the finish to the restaurant.

- Launch (typically 10:00–10:15).
- On water ≈16 km, ~2–2.5 hrs (varies by water level/operator).
- Finish, showers, and buffet lunch.
- Shuttle back to hotels if booked.
- Total with transfers: half day+.
Telaga Waja Rafting Experience
- Typically, continuous Grade III rapids with short calm sections. (see the International Scale of River Difficulty).
- At higher water, some sections may approach Grade IV.
- Scenic banks with occasional low bamboo bridges; your guide will cue when to duck.
- Signature ~4-metre dam drop near the finish; on-river photographers capture key moments.

Can I combine Telaga Waja rafting with another activity on the same day?
Yes. Many guests add ATV, Sidemen/Tirta Gangga, or Ubud stops.
Is there secure storage for valuables at the base?
Bring minimal valuables. Small items can go in the guide’s dry bag; larger items are discouraged. Ask staff about on-site storage or leaving items in your vehicle or shuttle.
Can I bring a GoPro or phone on the raft?
Yes, at the guide’s discretion. Use a waterproof case with a tether; wrist or chest mounts are preferred. Loss or damage is your responsibility.
Do the shuttles have child seats?
We can arrange a private car with a child seat on request (not standard).
Can we get a private raft for our family?
