Complete Holiday Guide to Sekumpul Waterfall Buleleng

I have long known about the Sekumpul waterfall; my information obtained from one of the Wira Tour Bali drivers, which is from Buleleng regency. However, there was no intention for me to visit the Sekumpul waterfall.
The waterfall said to be the tallest in this area. The waterfall situated on a high hill area and far away from the residential of local people. While waterfalls of Sekumpul a few years ago only known by the locals, few foreigners know about it. However, the Internet spread the news about the beauty of Sekumpul waterfalls.
As time went by, I began to see many photos of Sekumpul waterfalls on Instagram. Also, I heard from our Bali white water rafting reservation staff, some of our customers who booked the Telaga Waja river rafting tour and Ayung river rafting adventure, were interested in visiting Sekumpul waterfall in Buleleng Regency.
The above reasons make me decide to visit the Sekumpul waterfall. Then the schedule was arranged, and I arrived at the Sekumpul waterfall Buleleng.
Journey to the Sekumpul Waterfall
I have to walk through a narrow road from the car park, and the road can be pass through with scooters. Therefore, if you ride a scooter, you will be closer to reaching the entrance ticket counter. After around 15 minutes slow pace walks, then I arrive and the entrance ticket counter. At this ticket counter, I pay the entrance fee. Regarding how much is the Sekumpul waterfall entrance fee, I will explain below.
On the way to the waterfall location, I can see some traditional houses, surrounded by rambutan fruit, mangosteen trees, and towering durian trees. After trekking for several minutes, you will see views of the terraced rice fields and verdant hills and distant views of the waterfalls.
To get to the location to see Sekumpul waterfall, I had to go down several steps, with a winding footpath route. I am not sure how many levels I did go through, maybe about 350 steps. In addition to the number of steps, the stairs in some places are also very steep. Therefore, please be careful when visiting.
After passing the journey down the stairs for 30 minutes, I finally was able to see the Sekumpul waterfall in close view. To get to the waterfall pool, you have to cross a river where the water level is about the height of an adult’s thigh.
Of course the hiking trip will be quite tiring, the fatigue will pay off once you see the twin waterfall. Your stamina and awareness are counts here, especially if you go down without a guide.

Exciting Things You Can See In The Biggest & Most Beautiful Waterfall In Bali
I saw two waterfalls side by side, dropping large quantities of water from a high cliff. The waterfall hits the rock below, making a splash of water and deafening noise. I bearly can’t hear other people’s voices, and you need to shout to talk with someone nearby. Moist, and the splash of the waterfall keeps my body fresh.
According to a friend of mine from Buleleng district, during the rainy season, the twin waterfall would have a different watercolor.
The left side of the waterfall will have clear and clean water, as it comes from the springs located on the hills while the right waterfall will have brown water as the water comes from the river.
However, during my visit, I did not notice the watercolor’s difference from the two waterfalls, probably because I visited during the dry season. I see many large trees around the waterfall area, and they look very green and lush.

How Tall Is The Sekumpul Waterfall?
I do not know precisely how high the cliff was and how tall the waterfall. The local that I met at the location said the waterfall was about 50 meters high.
